Most Informative Site

Looking through URAs past, I notice that Joe Smith's Unofficial ReBoot Site has won Most Informative Site for three years in a row. And deservedly so. There's little room for argument, that site has the most comprehensive collection of almost everything known to ReBootdom, and has always held that position.

The only part that perturbs me is the sad fact that is has not been updated since March 1, 2002. I think there is a rule somewhere that a site must have been updated in the last two years to be nominated for a URA, which technically this site follows.

So the question on my mind, and it's probably been asked before, is, is there a need to keep pointing out how informative this site is? He doesn't seem to have his URA graphics on his site, either. For next year, should we continue with this category? Should we keep it, but rename it Second Most Informative Site? LOL, I guess that wouldn't seem like that much of an honour. But is there something different that could be done next year?

To me, he's still official since he's the unofficial one, he is the only one who can say he's the unofficial site, thus having the most info. I thought the URAs are for fan sites that have been updated lately. He's a violation of this, which surprises me because of all the news about ReBoot going on right now *scratches head* What I'm getting at is that I don't think that his site should be a part of the URAs but that's just my opinion. :P

Yeah... that was a concern. But his site is so canonical.

Anyway. You'll see how the people voted once the ceremony rolls around. I think everyone will be quite surprised...

All categories were REALLY close this year. I'm very impressed!
